FOLDING INTO FALL: Energy of the Equinox ............... Sunday, September 22, 2012, 1:30 pm – 4:30 pm
Hip openers, forward bends, cooling meditations for runners, cyclists, everyone with tight hamstrings, hips, low backs and for everyone stressed out needing some chill time.
There will be balance between detailed instruction, the use of props for safety along with moving the energy for freedom and heat. Himalayan techniques of the Masters will be presented and practiced to help you in the conservation of vital life-force Prana. These time-tested techniques will be taught in the traditional manner to awaken the inner-feminine in all of us in order to help us fold into the Fall cornerstone of time. The specific postures, breathing techniques, meditations and activations will nurture, cradle and synchronize you with the natural cycles. When our internal rhythms mirror the external rhythms we are in harmony and can feel it in our body, mind and deep spirit-selves.
This is a practical and beneficial opportunity for athletes and all who are tight as we will safely stretch within our own boundaries and connect deeply into the feeling of folding the mind inward. This will be a very restful, gentle and supported experience. You are invited to join us.
